I’m excited to announce the Masala Bhangra Performance Workshop, an 8-week journey where we come together to learn a 10-minute dance choreography and prepare for a live performance! Each rehearsal will be 2 hours, leading up to an unforgettable show where your friends, family, and community can come watch you perform. It’s a magical experience of teamwork, dedication, and celebration.

Time: 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM

Location: 520 8th Avenue, Room 16L

Cost: $410, including your outfit. Each performer will receive one outfit.

Choreography & Practice

• Choreography for each song will be recorded and shared weekly via Google Drive for practice.
• Music will also be provided.
• If you miss a rehearsal, it is your responsibility to catch up using the provided materials.

Who Can Join?

This workshop is open to everyone, whether you have dance experience or not. Commitment and practice are key.

Communication & Access

• All communications will be through masalabhangra@gmail.com.
• Google Drive access will be provided for choreography and music. I recommend having a Gmail account for easy access.

Bhangra In The Plaza 2026

• Location: Greeley Square Park, 34th Street, NYC
• Dates: September 30, October 7, October 14, and October 21, 2026
• Time: 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM

All You Need Is Balle Balle

• Date: Saturday, October 17, 2026
• Time: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Diwali at Times Square

• Date: Saturday, October 24, 2026
• Time: TBD (usually mid-afternoon)
